Teenagers from all over America will find sponsors to give them money to go without eating from 6 pm on March 1 to 6 pm on March 2.

This year we are using local food banks as the beneficiaries of The 24 Hour Fast.  We believe that if your youth are involved in raising the money, your communities should be the ones reached. Christians often think that mission work is only needed in other places, but the truth is that there are needs right in our own back yards.   90 cents of every dollar will make it to the hungry children and their families.  We are only taking 10% for administrative costs to fund the project. (Compare this to other ministries and organizations which take up to 25% or more.)

How Does it Work?

All you need to do is find sponsors to give you money to go without eating for 24 hours.  You can say something like:  "I am so serious about feeding the hungry that I am going to go without eating for 24 hours in an effort to raise money for them.  Will you sponsor me for              dollars?"  If your sponsors want a receipt for tax reasons, you need to send us their name, address and how much they gave.  All donations are tax deductible, and checks need to be made out to Just Jesus Ministries, Inc. (We can't cash other people's checks!)

The fast blast is a time when all the churches in your area come together for a time of prayer, Bible study, fun and games. At the end of the fast blast all of the youth participating are fed, showing our appreciation for all of their hard work.

We are looking for churches who are willing to promote The 24 Hour Fast in their area as well as hosting the Fast Blast for the churches in their area.

24 HOUR FAST T-SHIRTS

 The T-shirts are 100% cotton "beefy-T's" and have The 24 Hour Fast logo on them. They only cost $10.00 and that includes shipping and handling.  Order some for your youth group today. You can use them to advertise the event or as a reward for raising money.

Teenagers who raise $100.00 or more for the hungry children
will receive a t-shirt from Just Jesus Ministries for free.
